This project is part of the monthly Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop. We created with a sketch from the Sept-Dec Mini Catalog this month and I am sure you will find some great cards. Thanks for joining us. You will find links at the bottom to take you to the other projects in this series.

Full list of supplies needed, listed below. A die cutting machine is needed for this card.
Sunny Springs Cards & Envelopes: 5 1/2″ h x 8 1/2″ w folded to 5 1/2″ h x 4 1/4″ w

Pretty In Pink Cardstock: 2 1/4″ h x 4″ w

Basic White Cardstock:

  • 1/2″ h x 3″ w
  • Scrap for sprigs

2024-2026 Designer Series Paper (DSP): 3 1/2″ square

Let’s Create

  1. Affix all stamps to Acrylic Blocks.
  2. Fold the Card Base in half using a Bone Folder to sharpen the crease.
  3. Use Paper Snips to banner flag one end of the Pretty in Pink Cardstock Rectangle.
  4. Attach banner flag panel to the Card Base with Stampin’ Seal.
  5. Run the Basic White Cardstock scrap through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Citrus Blooms floral dies.
  6. Run the DSP through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Spotlight on Nature Dies.
  7. Arrange the Citrus Blooms sprigs, 6″ Petunia Pop Bordered Ribbon, and the Spotlight on Nature die cut on top of the banner flagged Pretty in Pink panel. Attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots.
  8. Use Stampin’ Dimenionals to attach a Butterfly Accent to the Spotlight on Nature circle.
  9. Stamp the sentiment on the small Basic White panel with Petunia Pop ink. Attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  10. Sprinkle on the gems.
  11. Stamp and decorate the inside.
  12. Pair with matching envelope from the Sunny Springs Cards & Envelopes pack.
  13. Sweet! Now send it to someone special.

Basic White Cardstock: 3 ¾” x 5”
Hello Hollyhock Kit:

  • Card base panel front
  • Calypso Coral Banner
  • Sentiment Banner

Let’s Create

  1. Affix all stamps to Acrylic Blocks.
  2. Fold the Card Base in half using a Bone Folder to sharpen the crease.
  3. Cut Hello Hollyhock card front into nine squares
  4. Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere nine pieces to3 ¾” x 5” Basic White layer.
  5. Attach with Stampin’ Seal.
  6. Adhere Calypso Coral Banner (from kit) to card front
  7. Wrap ribbon or twine behind the Sentiment Banner (from kit) and attach with Mini Glue Dots.
  8. Adhere Sentiment to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  9. Sprinkle on the gems.
  10. Decorate your envelope.

You’ll have the perfect die-cut pieces for every season and every reason with the Nested Essentials Dies. These basic shapes give you so many creative options! Stamp your greeting, then cut it out using a corresponding die and add it to your next handmade card for a layered look that’s sure to get attention. You’ll add more than dies to your paper crafting stash with this set—you’ll also add value through versatility!

Full list of supplies needed, listed below. A die cutting machine is needed for this card.
Pretty Peacock Cardstock: 5 1/2″ h x 8 1/2″ w folded to 5 1/2″ h x 4 1/4″ w
Basic White Cardstock:

  • 5 1/4″ h x 4″ w
  • Scrap for1″ banner

Lily Pond Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP):

  • Scrap for 1 ½” banner
  • Scrap for die-cut banner frem

Die-Cut Banner frame (by nesting the two banner dies that are 2”  and 1 ½”)

Let’s Create

  1. Affix all stamps to Acrylic Blocks.
  2. Fold the Card Base in half using a Bone Folder to sharpen the crease.
  3. Run the Basic White Cardstock scrap through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machinge to create a 1″ banner with the Nested Essentials Dies.
  4. Run the DSP scrap through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machinge to create a 1 1/2″ banner with the Nested Essentials Dies.
  5. Adhere Foam Adhesive Sheet to Designer Series Paper and die-cut Banner frame (by nesting the two banner dies that are 2” and 1 ½”). 
  6. Stamp sentiment on Basic White Banner in Pretty Peacock ink.
  7. Adhere banner frame to top center of card.
  8. Attach the sentiment to the DSP banner using Stampin’ Seal and then adhere inside DSP frame using Stampin’ Seal.
  9. Add a Basic White Twine Bow to the left side of the frame with a Mini-Glue Dot.
  10. Stamp and decorate Basic White 4” x 5 ¼” for the inside and attach with Stampin’ Seal.
  11. Decorate your envelope.
  12. So sweet! Now send it to someone special.
