Change Can Be Beautiful

Fall is here! Dig out your Rich Regals color palette and stock up on fall papers, stamp & die sets and embossing folders to create this pretty, simple card. This project was created for the Inspirations In Ink Blog Hop and is based on a sketch from the ’24 September – December Mini Catalog. Full list of supplies needed, listed below. A die cutting machine is needed for this card.
Basic White Thick Cardstock: 5 1/2″ h x 8 1/2″ w folded to 5 1/2″ h x 4 1/4″ w
Basic White Cardstock:

  • 5 1/4″ h x 4″ w
  • 2 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ scrap for sentiment

Crushed Curry Cardstock: scrap for leaf

Cajun Craze Cardstock: scrap for leaf

Pecan Pie Cardstock: scrap for leaf

Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper (DSP): scrap for die cut circle

Let’s Create

  1. Affix all stamps to Acrylic Blocks.
  2. Fold the Card Base in half using a Bone Folder to sharpen the crease.
  3. Run the 5 1/4″ h x 4″ w Basic White panel through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Leaf Fall Embossing folder. Attach with Stampin’ Seal.
  4. Die cut a Spotlight on Nature circle from the DSP
  5. Die cut a Something Fancy sentiment tag from Basic White Cardstock.
  6. Die cut three Autumn Leaves. 1 each from Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, and Pecan Pie.
  7. Stamp Sentiment on the bottom of the Basic White die cut in Pretty Peacock ink.
  8. Run Crumb Cake Baker’s Twin through the tag. Use Take Your Pick tool to seperate the ends of the twine.
  9. Arrange die cut circle, leaves and sentiment tag. Attach with Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  10. Sprinkle on the Neutral Adhesive Backed Sequins.
  11. Stamp and decorate the inside.
  12. Decorate your envelope.
  13. Pretty! Who can you send it to?

Granny Apple Green Cardstock: 5 ½” h x 8 ½” w scored and folded at 4 ¼”

Basic White: 

  • Scrap for die cut sentiment
  • 5 ¼” h x 4” w

Lily Pond Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP):

  • Scrap for lily pads and duck
  • 5 ¼” h x 4” w
  • 1” h x 3 ½” w flag banner

Let’s Create

  1. Affix all stamps to Acrylic Blocks.
  2. Use a Bone Folder to burnish the score line on the Granny Apple Green Cardstock card base.
  3. Attach 5 ¼” h x 4” w DSP to card base with Stampin’ Seal.
  4. Use Paper Snips to flag the ends of the 1” h x 3 ½” w flag banner and attach with Stampin’ Seal.
  5. Use Tear N’ Tape to attach a 3 ½” piece of White Frayed Grosgrain Ribbon. 
  6. Stamp sentiment on Basic White scrap in Granny Apple Green ink and die cut with Nested Essentials dies. Attach with Dimensionals.
  7. Fussy cut lily pads and duck from DSP. Attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  8. Sprinkle on some 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems
  9. Stamp and decorate 5 ¼” h x 4” w Basic White and attach to inside.
  10. Decorate envelope.
  11. Adorbs! Who haven’t you talked to in awhile?

Shaded Spruce Cardstock: scrap for springs

Lost Lagoon Cardstock: scrap for springs

Pretty Peacock Cardstock: scrap for springs

Basic White Cardstock:

  • 4” square scrap for fussy cut circle
  • 5 ¼” h x 4” w 
  • ½” h x 3” w

Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper (DSP): 

  • 4” square scrap for die cut circle
  • ½” h x 4” w (10) strips
  • scrap for flowers

Let’s Create

  1. Affix all stamps to Acrylic Blocks.
  2. Use a Bone Folder to burnish the score line on the Crumb Cake Cardstock card base.
  3. Arrange the ½” DSP Strips on Card Base. Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  4. Die cut 3 ½” DSP circle using Spotlight on Nature dies.
  5. On Basic White scrap, trace 3 ½” circle in Basic White cardstock and fussy cut with Paper Snips.
  6. Use Paper Snips to fussy cut several flowers from DSP. 
  7. Die cut sprigs from Textured Floral and Citrus Blooms dies in Shaded Spruce, Pretty Peacock, and Lost Lagoon Cardstock.
  8. Arrange the flowers and sprigs on the die cut DSP circle. Attach with Mini Glue Dots. 
  9. Tie a bow with Iridescent Striped Trim. Attach with Mini Glue Dot.
  10. Use a Stampin’ Dimensional to attach a Paper Butterfly Accent.
  11. Stamp sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink on Basic White label and attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  12. Attach DSP Circle to Basic White Circle. Attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 
  13. Sprinkle on some Purple Fine Shimmer Gems.
  14. Stamp and decorate 5 ¼” h x 4” w Basic White and attach to inside.
  15. Decorate envelope.
