Birthday Wishes

When your mom says “I need some birthday cards for men” you get to creating. Add interest to your cards with rembossing folders, die cuts and shades of color. What will you make with this design?

Say it all with the Simply Said Stamp Set. This sentiment-only stamp set is a paper crafting staple you can use all year long, year after year. Sentiments include birthday, thanks, thinking of you, missing you, celebration, and more! These go-to sentiments are ideal for pairing with your favorite stamps, punches, die-cut pieces, or other crafting elements for card making and gift tags.

Measurements

Full list of supplies needed, listed below. A die cutting machine is needed for this card.
Azure Afternoon Cardstock:

  • 5 1/2″ h x 8 1/2″ w folded to 5 1/2″ h x 4 1/4″ w
  • Scrap for sentiment

Basic White Cardstock:

  • 5 3/8 h x 4 1/8″ w
  • 5 1/4″ h x 4″ w
  • 3″ square
  • scrap for presents

Crumb Cake Cardstock:

  • 5 1/4″ h x 4″ w
  • Scrap for die cuts

Let’s Create

  1. Affix all stamps to Acrylic Blocks.
  2. Fold the Card Base in half using a Bone Folder to sharpen the crease.
  3. Run the 5 1/4″ h x 4″ w Crumb Cake panel through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Dotted Circles Embossing Folder.
  4. Attach embossed Crumb Cake panel to the 5 3/8 h x 4 1/8″ w Basic White with Stampin’ Seal and then attach both panels to the Card Base.
  5. Die cut four Crumb Cake squares using the Perennial Postage dies. Use Stampin’ Seal to attach to the 3″ square and then attach to the Card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  6. On Basic White scap, stamp four presents:
    • Balmy Blue
    • Boho Blue
    • Azure Afternoon
    • Blueberry Bushel
    • Night of Navy for bow
  7. Use Paper Sips to fussy cut out the presents and attach to Crumb Cake die cut squares with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  8. Sentiment Tag
    • Die cut the sentiment tag from Azure Afternoon cardstock using the Something Fancy die.
    • Wipe the Azure Afternoon tag with the Embossing Buddy.
    • Stamp Sentiment with Versamark Ink on the Azure Afternoon tag.
    • Sprinkle Versamarked sentiment with white embossing powder.
    • Use a heat tool to heat set the powder.
    • Attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the bottom and Stampin’ Seal on the top wher it overlaps the present layers.
  9. Sprinkle on the gems.
  10. Stamp and decorate the inside and attach with Stampin’ Seal.
  11. Decorate your envelope.
  12. So cute! Now send it to someone special.
