I love how all the designs in a pack of Stampin’ Up! paper coordinate. It’s easy to mix & match strips from one pack of Designer Series Paper to create using this sketch from the Annual Catalog.

Measurements

Full list of supplies needed, listed below. A die cutting machine is needed for this card.
Card base – Gorgeous Grape

                    4 ¼” x 5 ½”

Gorgeous Grape  – 3 ¼” x 8 ¼” scored on long side at 4 1/8”

                               Scrap for die cutting

White – 3” x 4” – two

              Scrap for stamping and die cutting

Splendid Autumn dsp – 4” x 5 ½” Sunset with purple sky pattern

                                      ½” x 2 ¾” 7 strips of various patterns

Let’s Create

  1. Affix all stamps to Acrylic Blocks.
  2. Fold the Card Base in half using a Bone Folder to sharpen the crease.
  3. Attach the panel of Splendid Autumn dsp to the large Gorgeous Grape panel.
  4. Arrange your ½” strips in a pattern you like.  Beginning in the middle of the White panel, add your center strip with the left side close to the left side of the White panel. 
  5. Add the other strips above and below staggering the ends on each side to give a zigzag pattern on the sides. 
  6. Fold and burnish the Gorgeous Grape strip.  Add the White panel
  7. Add the mini card you created in Step 5 to the Gorgeous Grape panel you created in Step 2 centering on all sides. 
  8. Attach the other white rectangle to the inside of the mini card.
  9. Stamp your sentiment on the scrap of White using Gorgeous Grape ink.  
  10. Use the circle Stylish Shapes dies to die cut out the sentiment.  Use the next largest circle to die cut a circle from Gorgeous Grape scrap.  Layer the 2 circles together. 
  11. Add dimensionals to the back of the circle and then add it to the lower  right hand side of the mini card front 
  12. Stamp and decorate the remaining white panel and attach to the inside.
  13. Decorate your envelope.
  14. Ta Da! Done! Who will you send it to?

Let’s Create

  1. Attach sentiment stamps to acrylic blocks.
  2. Use a Bone Folder to burnish the score line on the Sunny Springs Cards & Envelopes card base.
  3. Die cut four circles using Spotlight on Nature Dies from:
    1. Smoky Slate Cardstock
    2. Crushed Curry Cardstock
    3. Brights Designer Series Paper (2)
  4. Arrange circles and dog die cut from the By Your Side kit. Attach with Stampin’ Seal or Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  5. Attach sentiment from Say Something Ephemera pack with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  6. Tie a double bow with black and white Essential Baker’s Twine.
  7. Sprinkle on some Glossy Dots.
  8. Stamp and decorate inside.
  9. Attach DSP to the envelope flap with Stampin’ Seal and trim with Paper Snips.
  10. So cute! Who will you send it to?

  • Scrap for die cut leaves
    1 ½” w x 1 ¼” h (2)

Let’s Create

  1. Attach sentiment stamp to acrylic block.
  2. Use a Bone Folder to burnish the score line on the Cajun Craze Cardstock card base.
  3. Arrange DSP rectangles on 4 ½” h x 3 ¼” h Basic White panel. Attach with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. 
  4. Attach DSP panel to Crumb Cake panel with Stampin’ Seal. 
  5. Wrap Polka Dot Trim around Crumb Cake panel and secure in the back with Tear N’ Tape. 
  6. Attach Crumb Cake panel to Cajun Craze card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 
  7. Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock with Mossy Meadow ink, then die cut sentiment from Spotlight on Nature Dies. Attach with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 
  8. Die cut leaves from DSP scraps and Crushed Curry cardstock. Attach with Stampin’ Seal or Stampin’ Dimensionals, as desired. 
  9. Sprinkle on some Iridescent Foil Gems
  10. Stamp and decorate 5 ¼” h x 4” w Basic White and attach to inside.
  11. Attach DSP to the envelope flap with Stampin’ Seal and trim with Paper Snips.
  12. Festive! Who will you send this to?

Custom-Size Gift Bag

This project is part of the Stampin’ Your Way Through the Holidays Blog Hop. Three projects for four months from three Demonstrators. Click the links at the bottom to see all of the projects for this month.

A simple fun project showing off both sides of your beautiful Designer Series Paper and best of all, you can scale the dimensions to fit your needs! All you need are two square pieces of paper of the same design.

Measurements for 3″ x 3 1/2″ Bag

Full list of supplies needed, listed below. A die cutting machine is needed for this card.
Designer Series Paper: 6″x6″ (2 of same design)
Basic White Cardstock: Scrap for tag
Poppy Parade Cardstock: Scrap for tag

Measurements to Scale Bag

Bag will be 1/2 as wide as your Designer Series Paper and slightly taller than 1/2 as high as your paper.

Let’s Create

  1. Affix all stamps to Acrylic Blocks.
  2. Score both DSP pieces along the edges as indicated in table.
  3. Set DSP on work surface with design you want on outside of your bag facing up. Fold the top score line (1″ for a 3 x 3 1/2″ bag) toward the design you want on the outside of your bag. Burnish the score line with Bone Folder.
  4. Flip your DSP over so the design you want on the inside of your bag is facing up. Fold the remaining sides (1 1/2″ for a 3 x 3 1/2″ bag) toward the design you want on the inside of your bag. Burnish the score lines with Bone Folder.
  5. Repeat with second piece of DSP.
  6. One one piece of DSP, use Paper Snips to cut off the squares from outer bottom corners.
  7. One second piece of DSP, use Paper Snips to cut the score line above the squares from the outer bottom corners in to the perpendicular score line.
  8. Fold each DSP pieces at the top score line tpward design you want on outside of your bag and secure top folded flap with Tear N’ Tape. Design you want inside your bag is showing on outside of bag.
  9. Fold DSP #2 at side and bottom score lines.
  10. Fold DSP #1 at side and bottom score lines.
  11. Join two pieces of DSP along sides and bottom. Adhere with Stampin’ Seal.
  12. Pinch top edges of bag and use fingers to crease.
  13. Use hole punch to punch two holes in each top side of bag.
  14. Cut two pieces of ribbon at least twice the size of the desired length of the bag handles. Thread ribbon one piece of ribbon through the holes of one side. Tie loose knots inside bag to secure handle. Repeat for the other side.
  15. Use Something Fancy dies to create tag from Basic White cardstock and tag matte from Poppy Parade cardstock.
  16. Stamp House in Poppy Parade ink on Basic White Tag.
  17. Cut two 6″ strands of Linen Thread. Fold both pieces together. Thread through the whole in tags. Attach to bag with Mini Glue Dot.
  18. So cute! Now you’re ready to wrap that special gift.
