Three of my co-workers had babies this summer and I this little birdie from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set makes a cute baby card. I paired it with the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set and CASEd the design from a card I did back in March 2022.

Measurements

Full list of supplies needed, listed below. A die cutting machine is needed for this card.
Azure Afternoon Cardstock:

• 5 1/2″ h x 8 1/2″ w folded to 5 1/2″ h x 4 1/4″ w
• 1 1/2″ Scalloped Circle

Basic White Cardstock:

• 5 1/4″ h x 4″ w
• scrap for 1 1/4″ circle
• scrap for sentiment

Basic Black Cardstock: 1/2″ h x 5 1/4″ w

Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper (DSP):

• 3″ h x 5 1/4″ w
• 2 1/4″ h x 2 1/4″ w
  

Let’s Create

1. Affix all stamps to Acrylic Blocks.
2. Fold the Card Base in half using a Bone Folder to sharpen the crease.
3. Use Stampin’ Seal to attach the 1/2″ h x 5 1/4″ w Black Cardstock to the back top edge of the 3″ h x 5 1/4″ w Zoo Crew DSP so a smidge is showing from the front.
4. Attach to the card base with Stampin’ Seal.
5. Wrap Azure Afternoon ribbon around the card base and tie in a bow.
6. Attach the 2 1/4″ h x 2 1/4″ w DSP over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
7. Stamp the sentiment and bird on the Basic White Cardstock scrap in Azure Afternoon ink. Cut a 1 1/4″ circle around the bird and trim the sentiment to size.
8. Create a scalloped Azure Afternoon circle. Attach the little bird circle to it with Stampin’ Seal.
9. Attach the circles with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
10. Attach the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
11. Stamp and decorate the 5 1/4″ h x 4″ w Basic White Cardstock for the inside and attach with Stampin’ Seal.
12. Decorate your envelope.
13. So cute! Now send it to someone special.

Card Base: Pebbled Path Cardstock 4 ¼” h  x  11” w scored at 5 ½” and 2 ¾”

Background: Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper 4”h x 2 ½”w and 4” h x 1”w

Interior Layer: Boho Blue Cardstock 4″ h x 5 1/4″ w

Sentiment Layer: Boho Blue Cardstock scrap 3” h x 2” w

Background Sentiment Layer: Pebbled Path Cardstock scrap 4” h x 3” w

Let’s Create

1. Affix all stamps to Acrylic Blocks.
2. Fold the Pebbled Path Cardstock in half at the 5 ½” score line.  Then fold the front flap backwards at the 2 ¾” score line for the “z-fold.’
3. Stamp the boughs onto the right side of the Boho Blue cardstock layer with the Boho Blue Stampin’ Pad.
4. Stamp the sentiment with Pebbled Path Stampin’ Pad onto the Boho Blue cardstock scrap.
5. Die cut the Boho Blue cardstock sentiment with the rounded rectangle Nested Essentials Dies with your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
6. Die cut the Pebbled Path cardstock scrap with one size larger of the rounded rectangle Nested Essentials Dies with your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
7. Adhere the Boho Blue die cut onto the Pebbled Path die cut.
8. Adhere the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper 4”h x 2 ½”w onto the front flap of the card base.
9. Adhere the Boho Blue cardstock layer on the interior of the card. 
10. Adhere the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper 4” h x 1”w onto the Boho Blue cardstock interior layer.
11. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment layers to the card front flap, only half of the rectangle is adhered, the other half overlaps the interior with no adhesive on the backside, see photo.
12. Tie a bow with the Boho Blue Texture Ribbon, adhere with glue dots to the left upper edge of the Pebbled Path die cut rectangle.
13. Embellish with Adhesive-backed Sequins.
14. Optional to decorate the envelope flap with a layer of the Countryside Inn DSP
15. Love it!! Now send it to someone special.

Background: Lost Lagoon cardstock: 5 1/4″ h x   4″ w

Front Layer: Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper: 2 pieces, 2 different prints both are   4 ½” h x 1 ½” w

Sentiment Layer: Basic White Cardstock scrap 2” h x 3” w

Inside: Basic White Cardstock 5 1/4″ h x 4″ w

Let’s Create

1. Affix all stamps to Acrylic Blocks.
2. Fold the Card Base in half using a Bone Folder to sharpen the crease.
3. Emboss the Lost Lagoon cardstock layer with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder in your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
4. Adhere the embossed  Lost Lagoon cardstock layer onto the front of the card base.
5. Use the Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Pad to ink part of the sentiment, avoid the scripture reference as it will not fit into the die cut space.  Stamp onto the Basic White cardstock scrap.
6. Center the rectangle Nested Essential Dies around the stamped sentiment and die cut in your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
7. Use Stampin’ Seal to adhere the 2 prints of Masterfully Made DSP onto the card front, staggered and slightly angled.
8. Us a Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon to the back of the sentiment rectangle, folded into a loop above the top of the rectangle with criss-crossed ends showing below the rectangle.
9. Adhere the sentiment rectangle with ribbon onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
10. Embellish with Adhesive-backed Sequins.
11. Stamp and decorate the inside Basic White Cardstock 5 1/4″ h x 4″ w and attach with Stampin’ Seal.
12. Decorate your envelope.
13. So thoughtful! Who needs encouragement? Put it in the mail.
