To a Sweet Friend, Have a Peachy Day!

I’m not ashamed to tell you I spent a delightful leisurely Saturday morning in PaperCraft Therapy with the Sweet As A Peach Bundle. When I first saw the beautiful You’re a Peach Suite in the ’21 Annual Catalog (pdf), I could not WAIT to get my hands on it. The new Pale Papaya In-Color looks like an actual peach with Calypso Coral daubed on it. And the Designer Series Paper in this Suite is too too cute. With dots, and stripes and well, of course peaches. There’s nothing like fresh Georgia peaches in June! Papier Vampir provided the inspiration for this beautiful, heartfelt card.

Lay the 2″ h x 5 1/8″ w Pattern Layer along the lower edge of the 3 7/8″ h x 5 1/8″ w Sentiment Layer Basic White Cardstock. Use a light pencil tick mark or two to mark the upper edge. Great! now remove the Pattern Layer and continue with the steps, stamping above those tick marks.

    3. Using Pale Papaya ink ‘kissed’ with Calypso Coral ink, stamp the The Three Peaches on the Basic White Sentiment Layer.
    4. Using Memento Black Ink, stamp the Sentiment on the Basic White Sentiment Layer.
    5. Once everything is stamped, erase the tick marks.
  4. On scrap Basic White Cardstock, using Pale Papaya ink ‘kissed’ with Calypso Coral ink, stamp the Large Peach.
  5. On scrap Basic White Cardstock, using Pear Pizzaz ink, stamp the Peach Stem.
  6. Die cut both the Large Peach and Peach Stem.
  7. Let’s assemble!
    1. Using the adhesive of your choice, add the 2″ h x 5 1/8″ w You’re a Peach Designer Series Paper to the Stamped Sentiment Layer.

  3. Use the adhesive of choice to attach the Basic Black Background.
  4. Create the Decorative Strips Layer
    1. First cut your strips. They should be about 3 1/2″ h x varying widths. I made about 12 and needed 10, but it depends on their width.
    2. Attach the strips to the Pale Papaya Decorative Strips Matte.
  5. Next on Basic White scrap Stamp:
    1. Two peaches in Pale Papaya ink, with Calypso Coral ink sponge daubed on 1/2.
    2. Three flowers (one stamp) in Pale Papaya ink with Calypso Coral centers.
    3. Two peach stems in Pear Pizzaz ink
    4. Leaves (one stamp) in Pear Pizzaz ink.

  7. Stamp your Sentiment on Basic White Scrap and cut to size.
  8. Use Tear & Tape to attach a piece of Ribbon to the Decorative Strips layer, and then arrange your Sentiment, peaches, flowers, stems and leaves. Once you have them where you want them, adhere to the page. I used a variety of Stampin’ Dimenionals and Stampin’ Seal+.
  9. Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the Decorative Strips Layer to the Basic Black Background.
  10. Sprinkle on some pearls!!
  11. Stamp and attach your Inside Layer.
  12. Decorate your envelope.
  13. LOVE!! Who will you send it to?
